Qatar Diterpa Serangan Rudal Iran, Perdana Menteri Sebut Pengkhianatan Besar
MediaHub – Recent attacks have once again struck Qatar, with Iranian missiles targeting the region amidst escalating conflicts in the Middle East. Explosions resonated in Doha, leading to strong denunciations from Qatari leadership regarding what they describe as a significant betrayal.
As reported by AFP and Al Jazeera on Monday (March 9, 2026), several explosions were reported in Qatar’s capital during the early hours. This wave of drones and missiles is part of Iran’s retaliatory campaign across the Gulf region, following assaults by the United States and Israel on the Islamic Republic.
In response to this alarming situation, the Qatari government has issued a security alert. The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens to remain indoors due to the heightened threat of further attacks.
Serangan Iran Ditanggapi Keras
Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, has described the Iranian assault as a severe act of treachery. In an interview with Sky News, he emphasized that the attacks occurred merely an hour after conflict erupted, targeting both Qatar and other Gulf nations.
He condemned Iran for initiating strikes while reiterating that Gulf states had made it clear they would not engage in the war, underscoring ongoing diplomatic efforts.
“Iran’s miscalculation in attacking Gulf nations has shattered everything,” affirmed the Qatari PM, stressing that Qatar rejects the justifications for this escalation. He expressed disappointment that Iran would launch strikes despite President Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent apologies to Gulf nations and assurances that they would not be targeted unless provoked.
While opposing Iran’s actions, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that Qatar remains open to communication channels with Tehran in hopes of de-escalating tensions and pursuing diplomatic solutions.
